Presenting lighting, theatre and weather: formerly from the hills of Yorkshire, with bits and pieces of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and trips to Edinburgh; when the music stops, where will neel end up?

More from the tour.

1: Ladies and Gentlemen, another contender for Worst Lighting Desk Ever (see also) - the Strand Action 24 at Airdrie Arts Centre. Only one axis of faders so you can't even do proper manual control. Cue playback is via a split fader - no go button - with a display that only shows the next cue number, not the one you're actually in. Only 99 memories, so not enough for the 106 that I really, like, need. And it would occasionally only accept single-digit cue numbers for no reason at all. Brilliant.

2: Carlops Village Hall.

3: Harbour Arts Centre, Irving (thrust stage so no walls).

4: Tollbooth Theatre, Stirling.

5: The Old Jail in Stirling. Very pretty.
