Caine says:

*Waves* That's a great hat. ;D Nice pic, Maggie.

Did everyone have to wear blue eye liner?

I'm gutted that I couldn't make it in the end..

looks like you all had a great time though.

2nd Dec 2006, 22:03

MaggieD says:

Thanks Caine .... the pic was so posed .... it took me a couple of goes to get it .... Mr P and Sprocket were very patient! ....

2nd Dec 2006, 22:05

MaggieD says:

Blue eye liner was optional ..... christmas cowboy hat compulsory .....

FilbertFox says:

2nd Dec 2006, 22:31

MaggieD says:

Nice fellas indeed .... little or no lurking by Sprocket (well not as far as I could see) Mr P was very charming and very patient when it came to taking photos .....

2nd Dec 2006, 22:45

paintist says:

hahaha...wait till he sees this ...I will be banned !!

2nd Dec 2006, 23:04

MaggieD says:

But he was so accommodating! ... (whilst not actually prancing) he did give a little hip jut .... at least twice .... 'cos it took me a couple of goes before I got the 'shot'.....

2nd Dec 2006, 23:16

paintist says:

hmmmm Its the blue eye shadow, that is the problem.....did sprocket lend him some?

2nd Dec 2006, 23:22

hildegard says:

Fair play to Mr P, evidently a forebearing sort of a cove. Good hip jut. (ducks, runs)

2nd Dec 2006, 23:27

MaggieD says:

Not sure what is going on with the blue eye shadow ..... could be a colour readjustment ... or maybe Sprocket did get a little over enthusiastic with the Mary Quant ....

2nd Dec 2006, 23:27

Gael says:

sorry I didn't even get to say Hello to you Maggie : (
next time ...

2nd Dec 2006, 23:39

Its the ballet training wot gives me such poise. That and showering with hundreds of men at the rugby club.

3rd Dec 2006, 00:17

nige says:

hahahaha. now *that* is funny mr. p.

great to meet you guys tonight. this is arguably the campest photo of the evening...what with the eye makeup, cowboy hat, mr. p's "i'm a little teapot" stance, and the way they're holding those glasses...well.

Maggie, you're most welcome for the camera help. we got there in the end... just push the right button, ok? :)

swamprose says:

Mr P. blogs.
We are honoured.
Of course, wearing blue eye shadow makes you normal with this bunch.

MaggieD says:

Hi Gael, sorry I didn't get the chance to say Hello ..... it was a bit of a manic day ..... school fair in the morning, then I had to shop for my sister's birthday present on the way to the meet, then had to leave early so that I could meet up with Dave in order to deliver it and get a lift home. Hopefully next time I wont be dashing off ....

3rd Dec 2006, 10:33

MaggieD says:

Thanks to Nige for help with the camera. It is a new one (the last time I used it was at Paintist's some time ago (and then it was Spike who had to show me how the macro worked)) ...... but at least I actually took some pics this time...... :-)

3rd Dec 2006, 10:38

MaggieD says:

Sprocket seems to think that his hat is pink (see his blog) ... I maintain it is a brilliant shade of scarlet .....

3rd Dec 2006, 19:30

Geodyne says:

Maggie: I'm with you. *Pink* is the curtains - and something the hat was most definitely not!

Mr P, you're a scream. :D Lovely to see you again.

3rd Dec 2006, 19:55

MaggieD says:

Geo, Thank you on confirming the non pinkness of Sprocket's hat .... Mr P (along with Mrs P) are just such a lovely couple :-) ... I just can't believe he had not realised P had been a blogger for so long without him knowing ... he is so much a blogger type (ie. wicked sense of humour and a good eye and a good good hip thrust when required) .....

3rd Dec 2006, 20:04

paintist says:

He is in Dubai any comments on 'hip thrusts' he will not see......I do remember a time when he did wear blue eyeshadow tho......( god I will so pay for that if he sees it )

3rd Dec 2006, 20:11

Sprocket says:

Yes, MD, NO dashing off next time.

3rd Dec 2006, 20:12

nige says:

3rd Dec 2006, 20:12

FilbertFox says:

wonder if the boys know about their father and his make-up wearing days?

3rd Dec 2006, 20:18

Dhamaka says:

wow - look what happens when I go off for a snooze - Scarlet definitely, Maggie

Maybe we should work on 'persuading' Mr P to start his own blog, then we might get to see all the interesting places he works at (if not that, at least the inside of hotels around the world)

3rd Dec 2006, 20:23

Sprocket says:

as they say - "a snooze is a long time in Moblog"!

3rd Dec 2006, 20:24

MaggieD says:

Mr P is so much like Mrs P .... same sense of humour ... am sure the sense of humour has been handed down through the generations ... Mr P reminds me of Monkey Finger ..... Mrs P maybe a bit more of Backwards lamb .... just such lovely peeps ....

3rd Dec 2006, 20:28

540air says:

Fantastic!! :D

4th Dec 2006, 01:25

JokerXL says:

It was lovely to meet you Maggie, you're a very sweet lady.
The "compilation" was the least I could do to thank you, from all your "victims".

To have been "Maggie'd" is a true honour.

4th Dec 2006, 08:40
