Ace film!
Really "dark" and mean, for a Bond movie, no happy end.
A bit long though, about two and a half hours!
The crane sequence tired me out!
The credit sequence was a top class piece of film/animation.

Euphro says:

I don't know when I'll get to see it. I did finally get to see "Cars" and "Pirates of the Caribbean" on the flight here :)

Dhamaka says:

now there's an idea for an article - choosing long haul flights for the in-flight entertainment. I wonder if anyone would go for it...

10th Dec 2006, 20:49

Sprocket says:

I always check what the long haul entertainment will be when I book a ticket. Virgin is the best, with the choice of about 20 films per flight.

10th Dec 2006, 20:54

Dhamaka says:

would you pay more for a ticket if the films were good then?

10th Dec 2006, 21:32

Sprocket says:

No, I'd just fly to another country that had better in-flight entertainment.

hang on - half time break?

we don't get those here.

i loved this film - i never really liked daniel craig, but was glad to hear that he was the new bond, and he's done an amazing job, i think. even if he does look like a monkey.

Sprocket says:

The last half-time break I had in a film was one of the Lord of the Rings flicks . . . oh hang on, that wasn't a half-time break, I just went out for ice-cream for a very long time.

Last real breaks I can remember were in The Right Stuff and Gandhi.
