indeed - and then you should let us know how you managed to drop it in the conversation

Srose, I have to go back and see them for a second interview / meeting tomorrow..

So I thought I should read up an what the job entails :)

At the moment playing on MBUK seems like more fun than reading 120 pages of government documents..

No harm done - at least not so long as you're good at waking up at 5am and doing the work then...

11th Dec 2006, 16:01

D, I will be up at 5am, but to drive to Manchester to pick my parents up and drop them off at Liverpool airport before 7am so they can catch the 8am to Inverness. They are on the Christmas present run to see Trinity Gask and family in the frozen north. That should put me nicely in the middle of the rush hour coming home

I need to be suited, booted and out by 1pm so my time is getting more and more scarce.

I am currently in the middle of cleaning the oven to aid my procrastination.

Dhamaka says:

oh :(

but oven cleaning is good and if you'd like more procrastination you're welcome to trek over here and clean mine after....

Thanks Mandy,

DTI - Department of trade and industry
WEEE - Waste electrical and electronic equipment regulations

In short, after July 2007 any manufacturer of electrical equipment sold in the UK has to fund the recycling of the old equipment. IE. if you buy a LCD monitor to replace your current CRT monitor the shop you buy your new monitor from must accept the old one for recycling. The shop will get a small amount for handling the old monitor which would then be collected and recycled.

I was going to send my supportive message tomorrow but as you're so busy tomorrow morning I'll say it now:

I hope it all goes well tomorrow afternoon, I'll be thinking of you trying to get the door open. You'll be great, you know you will! xx

MaggieD says:

Oh yes, and Good Luck from me too ! .... agree with Twiglet, perhaps it might be a good idea to practise your door opening skills as well ....

Ah the WEEE regs, I had a brief look into them recently. I bet not one of the people who created the regs even considered for a second what a silly name they'd given it ;)
