this guy was in my front yard when I went out this morning. Three feet of really hard packed snow, complete with aluminum venting top hat.

There was a lot of Christmas celebrating going here long after I went to bed.

You would need a few people to carry this guy. He's heavy. And there is no snow here. So where it came from, why, when...there are some things I don't need to know.

I like him. No one else has one.

hi guys. the snowman is melting. it has been raining all day. No one here claims any knowledge of where he came today, gone tomorrow.

Well, at least he's not a fair weather friend. Quite the opposite, since he's melting and all.

I went to a neighbourhood dinner last night. Of course I mentioned the strange snowman on my front garden. Evidently, my desire for snow has gone beyond the blog, and Greg, owner of Harry the wonderdog, confessed that he put the snow from the zamboni (for UK people, it makes the hockey ice and dumps snow) into a garbage can and made the snowman for me. Drove it down and put it there. He is a terrible liar so this was not hard to elicit. Is that not a sweet thing to do or what?

That is a very sweet thing to do!

Is it cold enough for him to stay awhile. Your little friend I mean, not your philanthropic neighbour!

I think the snowman is great! He obviously added to your holiday cheer!
