Welcome to the official Moblog for Maximo Park - the Maximoblog.

This is where the band post photos of whatever takes their fancy that they think might be of interest to the wider public, from the mundane (backstage) to the spectacular (Archis' hair).

But they are not the only ones, as this Maximoblog is open to you!

Anyone who wants to send in a photo, whatever they feel relevant, we would love to see. The more the merrier, the more creative the better.

Get involved!

clara says:

Why thank you,Alfie,do you really think he looks like he's thinking that?(Laughs-rather amused)

14th Jan 2007, 18:40

clara says:

That wasn't the intention when I sketched it!

14th Jan 2007, 18:45

paul says:

is that his hair or a hat?

14th Jan 2007, 20:36

anonymous says:

i fear it's his hair, but the rest is mint!

14th Jan 2007, 20:37

clara says:

It's his hair and his hat,I sketched it from memory, but the original picture was rather dark.
Thank you,anon!

Desiree says:

He has a mullet. haha. It's a great sketch though. I wish I could draw...

15th Jan 2007, 00:04

clara says:

Thank you Desiree! It's just where his hair an hat meet in the original picture, which as I said was rather dark.

15th Jan 2007, 10:58

clara says:

There should be a more defined join between the hair and hat.
Sorry about that!

Hey Clara,I like it!!

I´m sorry for not given you a call when I was in London. It was a very busy and rainy trip, so I really didn´t have a moment to call you...I´m really sorry ´cause I surely wanted to meet you. But no prob, I´m coming again to the Astoria show on Feb so we can share some beers :)

Nice drawing, again.

23rd Jan 2007, 15:44

clara says:

char says:

Gutted...well not really. Im a very busy girl of late anyway. So there. Just kidding, thanks for replying and all. Xx

24th Jan 2007, 15:00

elenarendezvous says:

Of course I don´t mind, Clara.

I bought a lot of vinil records like Eddie and The Hot Rods (first and second album, original edition), The Saints (rare tracks, 1979), a compilation of women playing garage (original from the 60´s), a lot of singles from the Who, the Jam, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, the original Space Oditty - bowie album (with the original cover), some of Joy Division, The Kinks, the Dickies, The Cramps...and some more original singles from Bowie and the Clash. (I think I forget something....)

Books...mmm...two books from the BRILLIANT music photographer Mick Rock (Moonage Daydream --> David Bowie and Raw Power ---> Iggy Pop and the Stooges), old magazines ("The Melody Maker File 1976" which talks about Bowie, Alice Cooper, Diana Ross, Sly Stone and many more, "Fangoria", a gore and sci-fi magazine, some old INME), one Bowie book from 1974, two books of photography....

And I was lying, I also bought a photographic camera (a fish eye!!) and a lot of stupid things...a clothes (boots, dresses...a lot!!)

And that is all, good enough I think :)

24th Jan 2007, 22:02

elenarendezvous says:

I was trying to say NME

24th Jan 2007, 22:04

clara says:

My goodness,I hope you have a big house and lots of room!
A fish eye lens camera-is that something you have long wanted?
Sounds specialist.I have heard of them. And Mick Rock's book would be worth having. His recent book was "Debbie Harry And Blondie".

24th Jan 2007, 22:33

elenarendezvous says:

Fisheye is a lens, but also a lomographic camera. I bought the camera, and yes, I was serching for it for aaaages!!

I also saw this book of Mick Rock, but I had my bag full of things so I couldn´t buy it!!

And my house, believe it or not, it´s only 30 m2, so you can imagine how I live :D
