your posts always make me nostalgic for yorkshire... there's a John Atkinson Grimshaw painting which sometimes resides at Temple Newsam and sometimes at the city art gallery - it's called The Old Mill - do you do request blogging?

mmm mudsplashing stomping! The only time I've been inside it is on a school trip, rather a long time ago now, but I've seen the painting in the city art gallery many times since.
