As a teenager I knew everything....I'm still trying to figure out when I forgot it all.

The lamp was a Christmas present.
The paintings and clock were birthday presents from the last year.
And the table (with a messy 7 year old and messier 26 year old) was an

I remember you've blogged the lamp before, it looks lovely there. The clock looks familiar too

Is the table high enough to be 7 year-old proof?

The table pulls out and expands to seat up to 6 people so it's great...we've used it as it supposed to be used as a dining table, and in the 5 days we've had it a craft table, a painting easel and currently it is only half extended and James is using it as a desk because I'm off work and have "stolen" MY desk back for the time I'm at home.

When folded down it is only big enough for what you can see there so not only is it child proof it is also "Mommy" proof and can't be used as a dumping ground!!

sounds excellent
where's it from? it might be good for me (it's the non-dumpability that appeals)

It's an Argos special!! £99 + delivery.

Does the job its supposed to and at that price doesn't matter if the blonde one or I scratch it, bump it, bang it spill paint/glue/ink/dinner etc or generally abuse it as things tend to be in this household!!

our kitchen table is of similar consruction and dimension by the look of it, with the added bonus of being able to store 4 folding chairs inside the central bit - we got ours dead cheap from a charity shop but I think it was probably an argos job too, drawback is the chairs are arsenumbingly comfortless and Mrs H is such an expert and prolific dumpster that it's never been fully folded down.

loving that clock btw, it looks projected onto the wall

That one has 4 chairs folded inside it too the chairs are padded so not too bad unless used for a long period of time then you end up with a numb posterior, although that's not too much of a problem for me at the moment as I can't sit for long periods anyway...however James finds it a pain in the ....(lol)

Oh and the clock IS projected onto the wall LOL.

wow even cooler than I thought - can we have a blog of the projector then? our chairs have thin little cushions tied to them, but they may as well have not bothered.
