MaggieD says:

Looking hard to make sure they are not your trainers poking over the rim of the dinghy ..... was reassured when I saw they were a boring white .... erm, I also thought that there must be someone quite lightweight on the dinghy otherwise it would not have tipped over ..... great pic, as always ....

nige says:

you didnt think we were actually going to use a sledge did you, p? hehe. sledging just aint sledging without an...erm...dinghy.

Spiderbaby says:

That looks like such good fun.
Still no snow in Leeds, just cold, wet, grey and at work :( But on the other hand, at last have time to check up on moblog :)

wonderful dead sledder photo. did the dingy work well? at least socks today?

10th Feb 2007, 14:48

nige says:

the dinghy type thing worked well...until it popped, but we'd had our fun by then anyway. hehe. no socks today...hell no!

still no snow in Leeds Spiderbaby? damn shame i say. it happens so rarely these days...

10th Feb 2007, 15:22

Spiderbaby says:

We'll probably get ours in May... We can at least pretend to have snow by looking at other people snow instead of looking outside.

10th Feb 2007, 16:02

Viv says:

feeling deprived - they use plastic food sacks for sleds here

10th Feb 2007, 16:13

nige says:

you must be getting quite a bit of snow, Viv. my friend Lucy moved up there recently and sent mw some pics the other day.

10th Feb 2007, 16:46

factotum says:

I like this photo because although there's next to no snow and no hill, sledging fun was still to be had.

11th Feb 2007, 00:57

nige says:

hahaha. facto, that was alot of snow for us. we did go at the end of the day, so i'm sure the snow was better earlier in the day, nonetheless, you're right, it was fun :)

11th Feb 2007, 09:10

swamprose says:

the photo is just great, but it is sledGing that makes me smile.

no one would know what a sledGe does...very nice.

11th Feb 2007, 20:42

nige says:

11th Feb 2007, 20:47

swamprose says:

not at all, mr nige.

just a cultural difference educational moment.

you spell it sledge, we spell it sled.

whatever, it's that thing you use in the snow to go down the hill, preferably really fast. : }
