It was a great day, but I am in the hold of the medicinal vodka this adventure entailed. Thiniking tomorrow will wait for the polyps update--they are still there. g'night to all, and sweet dreams.

thank you for the HL. sometimes you go the extra distance to make it right, and nice to have it understood.

and if Eupro hadn't asked me if the lake was frozen yet, well, I wouldn't have had such a fine day. HL is yours too, Euphro.

Wow, that is a wonderful shot. I'm very flattered that you thought of me. Well done on the highlight :)

Now that the lake has frozen wil that mean the end of all the lake-effect snow?

thats just perfect, isn't it? i think eveyone knows...

swamprose says:

thank you all.

Euphro, actually the lake is not frozen. It's too big, so it just freezes around the edges. Lake effect snow is always possible in winter.

It is so hard making yourself go out into the cold for a long time, but it really made me feel better. I had forgotten what sun feels like on your face.

Miss'y, it is indeed breathtaking, especially if it is cold enough. Breathing seems optional at some points.
