Gael says:

are those ferny patterns some sort of marine woodworm phenomena or actually carved in by a person?

FilbertFox says:

pretty aint it

OJ says:

Carved by someone Dhamaka, though I don't know who or why. That's how we found it.

OJ says:

Ps. Gael, I don't know why I answered your question to Dhamaka. Brainstorm of some sort....

Gael says:

: ) an easy mistake to make OJ - there's only about 6 inches in height and 30 kilos in weight between us ...
EDIT glad you're enjoying the k800, I still haven't bonded properly with mine yet

OJ says:

Ah stop it now. It's because I posted three sets of images at practically the same time and Dhamaka logged in as Sprocket had already confused me on the previous set.

I have to say Dhamaka seems to get logged in as other people more than anyone else I've noticed.

Have you finished your essay yet?

Gael says:

erm . no. But I have a good reason, honest! I'm concurrently doing a critical biography for a film class and have become utterly consumed by it. I think i may have stumbled on a good topic for final year independent study or even post-grad. So I'm a bit manic at the moment : )))
EDIT that would be a 'bibliography. That'll teach me to get carried away ... *puts on Dunce's cap and retires to the corner of the room*'

I'm not sure whether that's good or bad. Passion for subject = good! Distraction from most immediate deadlines = not so.

I'm surprised you haven't bonded with your K800, I thought you'd taken some good pics with it. I'm not sure I bonded so much with mine so much as had a manic half hour.

I took 50 pictures in less than an hour on that beach, to quote my friend A "Like a woman possessed." Ahem.

Gael says:

Well the memory card can take 100s so you should have kept going ; )
point taken about the project, but if you choose to do it your proposition has to be in at roughly the same time as the essays. So that's five pieces of work to complete over the next four weeks.
But it'ds great to feel excited about it all again, my enthusiasm is both my greatest strength and potentially my Achilles Heel, in all aspects of life

OJ says:

So it's all good then :)

I was spending time with lovely friends on the beach so taking any more pictures would have been frankly antisocial...

Thanks Viv and Strange Little Girl. I've been otherwise engaged too, so I've only just seen your comments.

I got a new phone whilst you were away. And took myself to Wales for the weekend :)
