The lady with the classic coat-dress-hat-handbag combo reminds me very much of both my grandmothers in my parents 70s wedding photo. I think they styled themselves on the queen.

It's a nice comparison James - you can see that people are pretty much the same whatever the year (looking proud, wearing hats, clutching at arms).

My Grandad and Nan who are 3rd and 4th from the left on the top photo (my parents wedding) are the couple getting married in the bottom photo.

My Grandad looks like Mr Bean at my parents wedding though!
