This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

Thanks guys

Joker - the graff changes all the time (and grows too)

I don't think so Nige. At only 2 megapixels it would have to be pretty special and as I said, his face is hidden.

wraith2 says:

you got a k800 also !!! how do you love it ?
great shots by the way had I known you had your stunt riders here, I would have gone for something else.

17th Feb 2007, 22:48

Dhamaka says:

Thanks Caine

Wraith2 - please don't worry. You can't have too many stunt riders :-)

I've had real problems with these phones. All kinds of things went wrong and this is k800i #8. The camera on this one is more or less OK (although I don't think the macro facility is as good as the older k750i) this one keeps missing phone calls completely and it uses so much charge.

Vodafone gave me a Nokia (N90 I think) to replace the k800is but the camera resets every time you close the shutter so I gave it away.

wraith2 says:

Sorry to hear that that you had some problems with yours,as for me am on my second one, have not had any problems with any of them as such my first one i traded it with a guy for a t-mobile locked one since he cant get it unlocked here as yet, minor things i find strange is that the macro tends to be thrown off for whatever reason especially when am shooting raindrops, second is the presence of some whitish glare on the pics, which could be distracting sometimes, hopefully that will be cured in a firmware update.

18th Feb 2007, 00:35

Dhamaka says:

I don't get the whitish glare problem but all of the phones I've tried (including firmware updates to date) have had the macro problem. The k750i did that too.

thank you midlife.
It's difficult to miss the graff here - it really is an intrinsic part of the scene and why film crews love the area so much
