...if you know anything about roller skates. This is the rear truck from my right skate. It happened at a public skate of all things (I wasn't doing anything derby-related, I swear!). Just skating a long when I heard a loud *crack* and suddenly my right foot wasn't working right anymore. I could've sworn I snapped my ankle. But no, just a pivot pin. Cleanly, too. Keep in mind, this is metal we're looking at here. Rumor has it the manufacturer is expediting new parts to me... but I'll believe that when I see them in my hands.
