Ostrich Burger!

(viewed 2478 times)

I went out for my b'day meal with friends on Saturday night to a local
restaurant called Afrikana, where I had an Ostrich Burger for my main! It
was very nice and didn't taste a bit like chicken!

Wild Boar sausages were consumed, along with assorted bottles of African beer, but there was some disappointment as the Crocodile Steak Fillets were off the menu that night!

At least half of the 14 of us have moblogs, yet I didn't see many people
snapping away...

Well happy birthday anyway, better luck next time on the Crock-steaks.
Maybe it's because Steve Irwin's no longer with us, the cook couldn't catch one!

happy birthday dude, I tried alligator "steak" way back in the early 80's - 2oz of flesh for something like £12 (and £12 back then is prolly about £2500 in today's money) and I was pretty underwhelmed.
