Axolotl
I like my axolotl
I keep her in a bottle
And if I’m feeing cross or mad
Or down or hurt or bad
I pull the cork and let her out
With fiery roar and shout
She flashes sparks and bellows loud
And throws her weight about
And when the monster’s scared
my friends made them hide upstairs
I catch the raging, stamping beast…and put her right back there.
Axolotl in a bottle, I really like you such a lotl.

When deciding how to spend your slim budget, here's a vote for really good paddock boots. Not just chafing, sweaty wellies.
- Advice relayed from vet nurse who claims to have spent most of her training years in a pair of Hunters. ;)

and thanks a lot for that Hildegard... I haven't bought wellies yet, so I'll make sure i get some good boots!
but i do have a pair of steel toecap boots i could wear until i've got better :)
I really can't wait to go now... but i have to get a job in the meantime to pay the course fees!

oh, and the donkeys were adorable... so i had to share!
they have loads of animals there, including a working farm.. and a REPTILE ROOM! :D
but we have more reps than they do... so i won't be handling anything i don't already have!
(apart from tortoises... i don't have them! )
