three kinds. first seriously healthy whole wheat, then hot cross buns ( cuz I never understood them) and then, of course, cinnamon rolls. Am thinking no one is going to work tomorrow with this snow, so why not have the big breakfast? coming?

thanks steve. something nice about well used pages in a bread book.

yes a well stained recipe book is a prerequisite in any female kitchen, whereas a male kitchen simply doesn't need one.

I've been kneading and punching down : )
those buns are cute so far. but there are A LOT of them. 32. everybody is rising right now. maybe I can fit some dinner in.

para, in my experience, some men are brilliant cooks, with recipe books with more stuff on them than mine. nothing more attractive than a man who can cook : ) of course, they do use every pot in the house...

they usually are good eaters too.

I am running a bread factory here. one thing to mix it up, another to shape and bake. I am going to be up a long time. cinnamon rolls are not looking good.

Dancing round the kitchen - one should always dance when cooking, it adds a healthy vibe to any meal.

I'm with Steve - those top two shots are fantastic.

I don't mind men using all the pots in the house, it's the way that they don't wash up as they go along and leave all the washing up for you that occasionally gets to me

swamprose says:

maybe your friends, Dhamaka, are better on the dancing round the kitchen part.

Now it's snowing big in Montreal too, with all the schools closed i.e. with permission for everyone to stay at home if they possibly can. Breadmaking sounds like a perfect plan! I'll make Limpa, since that's something I can't get at the local patisserie.

all superb shots....I want to make bread now. I might have to do some proper irish soda bread tomorrow....10pm and several beers have persuaded me to give it a miss this evening :)

Swamprose - dancing around the kitchen is one of my most favourite activities (probably only coming second to eatng cake and day-dreaming)

Hope you're still finding time to dance in between the other stuff x
