U of T student residence, and no, ice does not fall onto cars.
My favourite fire station. The tower was used to dry hoses, and to look out for fires in the old days.

I think it's great. Can you actually walk out to the end of it, or is that overhang just for show?

(Maybe it's there because they started the lettering too far along and figured it would be easier to extend the building, than start the words again?) ;)

wish you could walk out on it. students would love it. but you can't. just a big sign. big fear here was that ice would drop off it onto cars...and it never has. big deal here this winter was ice falling off the CN tower, mega chunks. had to close big part of downtown :)
