Heh. The monks in the other pictures from this series made a beautiful sand mandala. The practice is to sweep it up after a week or so and basically hold a funeral for it. They give out little packets of the sand as blessings to the people who attend the ceremony.

No actual bodies were harmed in the filling of this packet. But something beautiful was destroyed....
