Knowledge pursues me but I am faster.......

If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with bullshit.......

.......One day, we will look back on this, laugh nervously, and change the subject…

Only in our dreams are we free. The rest of the time we need wages.

"More naked men on Moblog"
I heard the cry go out ...
It could only be our Filbert Fox
I thought without a doubt ...

With Sprocket still unwrapping
His birthday blogging sweets
My thoughts turned further northwards
For our Foxy's visual treats...

From the wealth of northern talent
I plucked a well ripe fruit
And posed him here for your delight
Fulgent in birthday suit .....

For FF when she gets back from her holiday .... a 'not so' Baggie Boy ....

Also another plug for Limesuckers (see linky on sidebar) ...

Thanks D, would wave back but don't wish to splatter you with pink paint ... :)

Utterly fabulous, Maggie. :)

Sprocket says:

:-)

Love the way your other masterpieces are on the wall - cool perspectives and shadows too, aren't you the whizz in Photoshop.

30th Mar 2007, 14:37

MaggieD says:

Thanks folks .... I, too, like Fridays, I just hope that my next year's timetable will still leave me with my Fridays free ....

Sprocket .... I do love Photoshop, I know there must be 'real' graphic programmes that are a lot better, but I don't think I have the time (or the inclination) to learn them .....

30th Mar 2007, 16:04

MaggieD says:

Oh yes, and I have an idea for the next in the naked men series .... any volunteers? .... all done in the best possible taste ..... and will be another plug for Limesuckers .... and you will not have to leave the comfort of your own home ..... all I need is a photo of your face in profile .... ;-)

30th Mar 2007, 16:20

Sprocket says:

:-)

I'm always available for a spot of nudeyness, but think I should let my fellow Mobloggers have their chance of reclining on your chaise longue.

30th Mar 2007, 17:14

MaggieD says:

Why, thank you Sprocket ... I think we are all aware of your propensity for nudity .... and just to let the possible volunteer know .... this will be an outside location .....

30th Mar 2007, 17:22

Sprocket says:

Outside location - this is going to be fun to see unfold.

Just noticed the perfect positioning of your left hand and palette - such attention to detail.

30th Mar 2007, 17:25

MaggieD says:

As I said, all done in the best possible taste ......

30th Mar 2007, 17:39

MaggieD says:

Ok, I know I am not allowing much time for volunteers (not that I think there will be many of them) ..... but I have a whole evening free this evening for cartooning.... and I know exactly what I want to do ...... so I just hope the person I choose has a good sense of humour .....

Spiderbaby says:

Fantastic! FF will be well pleased with that upon her return :)

30th Mar 2007, 20:24

Tori says:

Fun!

30th Mar 2007, 20:57

MaggieD says:

thanks Mandy and Spiderbaby .... and if Nige is about .... from whence comes the inspiration for the pose ..... 'tis a classic one (tho' the model in the original is female .... and with a touch more drapery ...)

30th Mar 2007, 21:00

Sprocket says:

well, we could all do with a touch more drapery now and again.

So when a lady (yes me, i am a lady) returns from a lovely holiday with her lovely man, she usually feels a bit forlorn. But not me, because i have lots of naked men to look at.

Thank you Maggie, a most welcome treat for the eyes.

31st Mar 2007, 18:35

MaggieD says:

Always happy to oblige ..... perhaps there should have been more a hint of a sunkissed hue on BB's body ..... looks a little too pale pink for a lad just back from his hols .....

31st Mar 2007, 18:42

FilbertFox says:

the only part of him to be sunkissed is his bald patch!

31st Mar 2007, 18:47

MaggieD says:

Mmmm,

31st Mar 2007, 18:51

FilbertFox says:

we didn't do any lounging about in the sun, and i insist in a minimum of factor 30 every time the sun even thinks about shining. It was quite funny really, we were in short/no sleeves and sandals, and the local were in coats and scarves!

MaggieD says:

FF ... Have you ever been to Iceland .... no kidding, one of the best holidays I have ever had (and I have travelled quite a bit) .... think you would really like it ..... and it is cheaper now than it has ever been ....

31st Mar 2007, 19:04

nige says:

i think i'd like the real version of that sofa.

i'm here maggie. did i hear my name called?

31st Mar 2007, 20:35

FilbertFox says:

Iceland is the place i most want to visit. BaggieBoy isn't too keen - we are currently saving for a trip to New Zeeland .

31st Mar 2007, 21:09

nige says:

the pose is familiar but i can't quite get the original artist. something tell me its renaissance era, but i'm also thinking matisse...not sure. where did the inspiration come from maggie?

31st Mar 2007, 21:50

MaggieD says:

Sorry, Nige, got distracted .... the original was "Le Grande Odalisque" by Ingres ......

1st Apr 2007, 10:44

chocolate says:

lovely, very innovative! and very unique!

1st Apr 2007, 12:15

chocolate says:

oh and yes that sky on the picture you commented is original! it was when the sun was going down exactly on the other side of the horizon. there were no clouds at all and the sky was in that perfect blue.

1st Apr 2007, 12:17

chocolate says:

wow thanks for all your comments, i'm just discovering them now.
and thanks for just smiling =)

1st Apr 2007, 12:21

nige says:

1st Apr 2007, 14:42

MaggieD says:

Thank you, Chocolate, I did like having a little stroll through your site, I am just sorry that my german is not as good as your english ... :)

Nige .... When I did A level Art, many decades ago .... I had to study Ingres, David and all the other Neoclassicists .... so images like these have been imprinted on my brain ..... along with Andy Pandy, Bill and Ben and the Woodentops .... :)

1st Apr 2007, 15:10

nige says:

indeed they have, and you are all the better for it, i say!
