Today was hard.

I asked my neighbour to turn off his floodlight. It has been on for three days, night and day. It shines into my house, exactly where Annie likes to sleep. He told me what he thinks of me. None of it flattering. Next thing, the cops are at my door asking me what I did....they were very nice, and of course, my neighbour ended up turning out his light. Left me wondering, feeling kind of low.

Then the UPS guy shows up.
With a blog package from Earth.
It was Mandy's wire rabbit head. With bird feathers stuck to it.

I tried it out for better reception with my router.
I tried it out on Annie. (not impressed except it smelled interesting)
Finally took down a mask and hung it up instead.
It is the greatest little piece of wire ridiculousness around.

Mandy, thanks. I really needed that rabbit head.
bless the blog.

Swamprose, what a rough day. You poor thing!

Mandy: way to go. It's wonderful, and what immaculate timing!

(Are you SURE you don't live in a Star Trek eposide?)

Sprocket says:

Earth City, Missouri is an unincorporated community located in St. Louis County, along Interstate 70 near the Missouri River. It is bounded by the city of Bridgeton on the east and north, the city of Maryland Heights to the south, and the Missouri River to the west. It is also in proximity to Lambert International Airport. The town is notable as being home to the headquarters of the Save-A-Lot grocery chain and a major UPS shipping hub.

sometimes wiki gets it wrong. I will edit that entry. We all know Earth City is where mandy lives. Everyone there wears shades and lives in a pod. And I bet they have jet packs. It is also probably where all the vanishing bees have gone.

swamprose says:

I now have the bunny. Most fearful totem of all.

Next time he has to vent all over me, I shall hold the bunny in front of me, wave it around, and he will behold the wrath and power of bunniiness. He will flee, or melt into one of those small goeey piles.
