Jordan's first Villa game...

I took the blonde kid to his first real football game today (no clever comments please!) to see my beloved Aston Villa. He was very excited and thoroughly enjoyed himself, singing along with the chants, making his own ones up, boo-ing the player who got sent off and clapping lots when we scored!

Meeting the Villa mascots and the half-time burger were the highlights for him I think (!) and boredom only stuck a couple of times (not bad for a 7 year old!), luckily enough the match day program kept him busy when action on the pitch was lacking!

Final score: Villa 1 Wigan 1 - we should have scored about 5, but Jordan loved it and wants to go again!

Thanks to my mother-in-law, I now have both the Villa home and away jersies. I also have seen a proper match on one of my visits thanks to goonflower. We had a brilliant time and I didn't cause an international incedent.
