Police raid in the 'spoons
- Yo, bruv, you got any weed on you?

- There's police with sniffer dogs up at Wetherspoons.
I had to do a bit of a double-take. Sniffer dogs in Wetherspoons? But apparently it's true. There were a dozen or so officers and a dog or two working their way around, and a PCSO guarding the door.

There used to be a pub in Portsmouth called "The Mighty fine" had it's windows permanently boarded over and sawdust on the floor.

I think the barriers are there to stop people falling off the big step when they open the windows up for 'al fresco' drinking. But yes, CCTV everywhere...
