Rice with leftovers, fennel, mushrooms, green peppers, carrot...drizzle some olive oil on when cooked so it has that oily finish that is always popular at Biffa Mansions.

Fennel - raw salad is nice with radish one of Jamie Olivers. Or cooked with chickpeas. Usually i just quarter them lengthways and fry very gently. Olive oil makes most things taste great is my motto.

in the end i cooked the artis as normal and made a simple risotto to stuff them and a couple of peppers with. Not used the fennel yet, but i did make a nice 'coleslaw' the other day with carrot, swede, fennel and kohlrabi.
