JokerXL says:

You should send a whole series of these "Who" pics to the BBC, or whoever makes the programs.

15th Apr 2007, 08:14

Twiglet says:

Thanks.

Because of something the face of*Bow(?) said in this episode, BS thinks that the Master will be coming in to it soon. On the way to my Twisted Sister's on Sunday we speculated about this. Is it possible that Cpt Jack could actually be the Master? Does anyone have an opinion.....

Edit: * See Mat's comment for the correct spelling.

Rich says:

All I know is, Saxon's got my vote.

17th Apr 2007, 18:01

We missed the Saxon reference, but I dont see how an 80's heavy metal band can be 'the master'.

Off to do some research so I am not humiliated by this at some future date

17th Apr 2007, 19:14

Twiglet says:

HA! BS is already humilated as a search reveals that Saxon may be The Master!! So does this mean that Cpt Jack is just a spazzy bloke with a funny accent who isn't sure whether to shag men or women?

17th Apr 2007, 19:23

Rich says:

No, I reckon he's fairly sure he wants to shag both men and women.

17th Apr 2007, 19:54

mat says:

It's "Boe". I checked during the credits. :)

Fairly sure that Jack isn't a Time Lord, is he?

17th Apr 2007, 20:12

Twiglet says:

Jack is supposedly a *Time Agent*.... Our theory is that he is The Master in disguise, possibly without even knowing it...... Jack certainly turns up in the last 2 or 3 episodes of the series, the Radio Times has already told us that....

17th Apr 2007, 20:30

Rich says:

I've just been trying to explain a little about the Time Agents and their origin but I just keep getting bogged down in nostalgia for the New Adventures, the book series that sustained Doctor Who during the 90s which most of the writers of the new series wrote for at some point. Damn that was an awesome line of books, I'm going to have to re-read 'em now.
But the basic thrust of my now deleted explanation was that your theory, while interesting, is wrong. ;P

One of the upcoming stories in series three is an adaption of Human Nature, which is/was one of the best stories they published. I have high hopes, needless to say.

Helen says:

Wha?

I don't know if I want to know. David Tennant's cute. And a work colleague said that I'd make a great Who Girl. Yeah.

17th Apr 2007, 21:36

Sprocket says:

I've been waiting for the Master to appear for the last few series, so I think he's about to turn up. I also reckon we're likely to tootle over to Gallifrey for one episode, and maybe witness the Time War.

17th Apr 2007, 21:49

Twiglet says:

Rich: My theory is almost certainly wrong but I so want Cpt Jack to be a baddie because DD thinks the sun rises out of him!

I'm old enough to remember Roger Delgardo as the Master and it is very hard to imagine anyone else in the role...

Not that I ever watch Dr Who...As long as that's understood..

18th Apr 2007, 20:53

Steve says:

Yep I also think that Saxon is going to be the Master, in a kind of 1984 spin. I can't wait, best baddie ever!

Can't decide if Jack went with the Doc at the end of Torchwood, or if he was nicked by the Master, maybe he is going to use the Docs hand!

21st Apr 2007, 19:39

Twiglet says:

At the end of Torchwood Cpt Jack got into his OWN Tardis because he's really a Time Lord in fact he's really The Master.....

21st Apr 2007, 20:59

Steve says:

Nah, Timelords know each other, their minds reach out!

Also he is way to sappy to be the master, could you fear a man that cried over a world war fighter pilot? "Lets dance" *weeps like a girl*

Twiglet says:

I suppose you're right...It's just when the wind is the right direction I can hear the gnashing of Rich's teeth from here!
