wow! In italy this car has abandoned the streets since decades. It was a "family" model of 600, with a very courageous design for late '50. Almost sure it derives from the prototype design of this car by Buckminster Fuller. It was commonly used as taxi cab in some cities, as Rome, as can be seen in various movies of the times.
this was a brilliant car, it must have been the first ever people carrier, no room for luggage, most people had a trailer or a big roof rack. down the road from us is a bubble car museum and they have one
My father had one of these until about 1962. He told me he did a valve job every time he changed the oil.
