This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

........ Rebecca Solnit

"Give, give, give -- what is the point of having experience, knowledge or talent if I don't give it away? Of having stories if I don't tell them to others? Of having wealth if I don't share it? I don't intend to be cremated with any of it! It is in giving that I connect with others, with the world and with the divine."

"The grand show is enternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapour is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls."
........ John Muir

"The bicycle is the most civilised conveyance known to man. Other forms of transport grow daily more nightmarish. Only the bicycle remains pure in heart."
........ Iris Murdoch

I'd take the sugar sachets (Jenny and I collect them at work .... whenever we go away we bring back sugar sachets ... neither of us take sugar but we like to have some on hand for visitors) ...

Hope you get your accomodation sorted ..... and some proper rest ...

love the tree in the puddle shot.....

Dhamaka says:

Paintist - this was about 11, I had been working since 7 and hadn´t had time for breakfast yet so needed something.. So did I. It looked much more romantic in the reflection too.

Maggie - it seems to be changing on an hourly basis. But at least I´ve had breakfast now :-)

Tori - no, but I can´t afford the time to stop and there are some parts of the city that I´m not sure are safe enough to use the laptop so visibly. Also I´m trying to teach myself to be less reliant on the laptop.. just in case for the Biggie

KFZ - you would love it. It´s the smoothest, most chocolatey, creamy cappuchino I´ve ever tasted. If they had wifi I´d be living in that place.

Sprocket - hahaha ... too late :P

SweetMags - it´s great to be here and a real experience but what I´d like to do is sleep in the sun for a day before starting work again, and that´s not going to happen.

Minkie - I love my job. Really love it. But I´m looking forward to going away without laptop and deadlines for a change some time in the future..

Minkie - it´s on the list
Viv - it´s helping fatten me up, that´s for sure. That place makes such scrumptious coffee

Joker - that sounds like a plan. How long would it take me to cycle there from.. say... Den Haag?

Jigalong - thanks. Lets just say it{s going....
