I make things on the web, mobile and in the actual world.
I've done lots of bits and bobs over the years, and right now I'm mostly working on this.
I enjoy speaking about things I like, most recently this. You can email me if you'd like, and I'm on twitter.

No comment. Just remembering something you said to me about your handset situation last week, that's all.
I thought the 7610 had gone already?
all tool'd up!
my favourite is the one on the far right.
left to right: nokia 7610, nokia 7650, some kind of palm device (xire?), motorola v600, some kind of games console thing, Sony Ericsson P910i
Handset situ is the same Mat, all teh phones you see here no longer function :(
Ah right, my apologies. You should send 'em to norm, he'll make a tower from them.
haha! - an artistic tower of Broke Phones? I Like it! Of course, Id prefer it if he was a master of the fixing, and made them all new and working again.
Amazingly, we had a break in yesterday, and all of them were stolen. The bastard who came in also got all our xbox games and stuff, but he's gonna get a shock when he realises that none of the devices work.
How did I manage to break so many phones? Well, lets go through it quickly; The Nokia 7610, lovely device you see there, was in my pocket when a mate tripped me into a canal in Kings Cross. The fact that I got out and pushed him in hardly helps. The Nokia 7650 you see there? Tabby dropped that one in the pond at her parents house. The Motorola, well, that one's working, the P900? Stupidly skateboarding with it in my back pocket, and I cracked the scree.. All in all, a terrible showing. I know.
I always get rid of my old phones, mainly because my sister bugs me for them. Nice set of gadgets.
Ooooooh gadgety. What's your current favourite, Alfie?
You can tell you're in the company of geeks when phrases like 'handset situation' are used casually in conversation.
That's a Sony Ericsson Psomethingorother isn't it?
The only other one I recognise there is a V600, but I could be wrong about that.
How did you manage to bust so many phones?
Sorry to hear about the break-in Alfie. Theiving bastids.
You sound like a hazardous guy for a gadget to be around. Ever thought of getting one of those ruggedised handsets?
But then you'd probably just lose it.
:p
