"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience

Skating away, skating away, skating away On the thin ice of the new day"

So much for sleep...thunder sounding like bombs going off over the roof, lightning turning night to day, having to run and close the kitchen windows and wipe up all the puddles from the rain coming in sideways. The wind hit around 50mph. Yeesh. Okay, back to bed.

oh it's nasty when it hits after you've gone to bed, especially as your last post was about how tired you both were, still, never mind, eh? only a bit of weather!

Para, yes it is particularly nasty then. I got a bit of sleep, not much. Yes, only weather, and we finally got sun Wednesday. :)

Viv, too many of the plants got battered! It was a rather ferocious storm.

Thanks, D! :) Got a bit of sleep. Company is now departed, so we can catch up. :)

Thanks, SLG. Those are lilacs at the bottom of the last shot. :) I'm going to go get more sleep right now.

Thanks, Maggie. We all have our "weather crosses" to bear. Naturally, it was cloudy, gray and cool while family visited, then the day they left, it got back to being sunny and warm. :)
