I'm here because it's a place where I want to be.

What do I do with my life - still pondering that, keep exploring the possibilities I suppose...

I do have another more personal moblog Vivupclose

Take a look at my daughter Beth's website...

food for thought...

Everyone, in some small sacred sanctuary of the self, is nuts. -Leo Rosten, author (1908-1997)

We think caged birds sing, when indeed they cry. -John Webster, playwright (c. 1580-1634)

There are two kinds of light -- the glow that illuminates, and the glare that obscures. -James Thurber, writer and cartoonist (1894-1961)

The artist brings something into the world that didn't exist before, and he does it without destroying something else. -John Updike, writer (1932-2009)

Some people become so expert at reading between the lines they don't read the lines. -Margaret Millar, novelist (1915-1994)

There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest. -Elie Wiesel, writer, Nobel laureate (b. 1928)

Am I bovvered, though, Look at my face, does it look bovvered, though? Look at my face. Look at my face. Look at my face, though. Does any part of it look bovvered? Am I bovvered? Ask me if I'm bovvered. Go on, ask me if I'm bovvered. Ask me. Ask me if I'm bovvered. Do you think I'm bovvered? Face. Bovvered. Look. Face. Bovvered. Look. Face. Bovvered? Look. Bovvered? I ain't bovvered.

that's Beth's room, with all her photos on the wall! I looked at them carefully. There so many fine photos of lovely places in the Dales. And of past times. She was taking good photos before moblog. The chaos in Beth's room only means things are getting clear in the bathroom. Lovely mog. Give Benji my best

Viv says:

No previous to the bathroom being done it was usable and reasonably tidy - you just had to share it with a bathroom suite, boxes filled with Alan's magazines and anything else that hadn't got a home - but it is now the next project - or part of it!

I'm hoping to confine it to the 3 cellars and the sheds and the lofts! Eventually - then I'd like to whittle away at those
