If I'm not mistaken, this is a daddy long legs. I saw it on Sunday at work. I'm no insect expert.. but it's not the season for them is it? :/

That's a mosquito hawk, or Crane fly. They are called that because they hunt and kill mosquitos and other annoying biting bugs, so they are quite a beneficial insect. Unfortunately, they are also fragile so they are hard to catch and release back outside. They can seem quite scary to insectophobes, but they do not bite humans.

Ah, a spot of further research shows that in the UK you do refer to these fellows as daddy long-legs. Here in the US, that name refers to a family of spiders.
