Good morning, and guess what?

As of last night, The Lime Project met its original goal of $20,600.

We did it. The last push was accomplished because Liz (Ms. February) had a really good idea and simply asked for people to donate in 11 dollar chunks- since we needed to raise $330 at the time, it only would have taken 30 people. (brilliant, Liz. Seriously.)

As happens, it took significantly less than that, and we thank each one of them (and everyone else who donated and bought calendars) deeply and sincerely.

So, what happens now?

As of right now, we have 22 calendars left. We'd like to sell them. Though the medical costs for Heather's treatment are now covered for the moment, this has left her bank account in a sorry state and we'd like to help out on that score as well, because you never know when an emergency can rise and all her savings were wiped out when this hit a year and a half ago. Also, seriously, people, I'd really just like to sell the 22 calendars.

You can still donate, you can still buy a calendar. We will sell them until they are sold out completely. Also, the Click Around the World Project started by JokerXL and Boet, will also be raising money to continue to help Heather as well.

So, if you want one of these calendars, now would be a good time.

Bethany(Ms. July) is going to be snagging some from me and will have them with her during the summer (for those of you who see her at her usual location.) She also lives closer to a post office(and , I assume one that doesn't SUCK, unlike my local.)

It's been about a year and a half since I came up with this loony idea. I want to thank everyone- the people who busted their asses to make this thing work- Val and Mara, all the models and their photographers, and all the people who screamed until they were blue in the face editing, writing copy and promoting. Mad props go to the person who paid for our printing. Also, all the people who spent their hard earned cash buying calendars and donating to assist Heather and who spread the word all over the world.

Finally, thanks to Tori for throwing in the last $5 so we could blow this thing and go home.

In the end, to date we've sent calendars to and received donations from 16 countries/locations(that I personally can pull out of my head- I lost that info when the Lime Project server crash happened a few months ago so I can't look it up. If I've forgotten any, let me know. It's not intentional.):
