I assume you watched the series recently on BBC2 with his film from the 1920's. The footage was fabulous but I thought the commentary that accompanied it less so.

Nope, didn't know he'd made it to telly - I first came across him years ago thanks to his blue plaque on the Edgware Road. What was the series about? just him or something broader?
