Goodbye to all that

For the past three-and-a-half years my daily commute has involved a lovely 4 mile each-way bike ride from Farnham to Charles Hill and back, half of it off-road. Tomorrow my company is moving to new offices and my commute is going to become a lot more boring, so today I decided to record some of the things I saw on my last ride in.

That's going to be a real loss. I hope you will be able to enjoy your new commute somewhat.

Nice series. Just wondering what's behind the gate?

nice one dude, and I know from experience that a ride like that is made all the more pleasurable when you've just finished work. Shame you've got to take a different path, but I'm sure there'll be a scenic route home you can take?

Thanks all!

Geo, Hobo: the new commute is less than two miles through the town centre, so not much fun, I'll just have to take an indirect route home.

Gael: There are a lot of herons there, I've been trying to get a decent picture for a while. Longer lens needed, I think.

Minkey: the gate is covering the entrance to Mother Ludlam's Cave, reputedly once the home to a witch.

D: I loved every journey, even when it was pouring with rain.

What a loss. :( Thank you so much for such a great virtual ride though. I can see why you'll miss it.
