I think your right about the galahs. The cockies are so covered in red dust I got confused. That's my story and I'm sticking to it :)

It was at the long end of a 70-200 zoom and cropped pretty well after that as well. They are very timid birds. I drove past them within 5 metres, but when I turned around and took out the camera about 30 metres was as close as I could get.
