You can buy some seeds called "poached egg flowers" marketed at kids. Would they be these?

We tried growing some from seed some years ago, without much success :(

They're among weeds on a moderately neglected bit of canal side. I've no idea how they got there - maybe they've self-seeded, maybe someone threw a handful of seed on the embankment in hopes of a show but they do seem happy there...

Perhaps that is what we should have done, just tossed the seeds into the soil and just let nature take it's course .....
