I've managed to avoid the place since they started showing up here in th UK. But after lunch Simon convinced me to have one. I fear i could become addicted to them. We got free fresh ones

Do they put smack in those things or something? I've noticed lots of people eulogising them but they just look like the same old "fat & sugar fried in fat" confectionary nightmare. What's so special?

The cream filled one I bought I didn't like. It was like they put icing inside it instead of cream. But the plain glazed one was heavenly. It was fresh and soft and nice.
