I'm watching Arcade Fire....Bless BBCi, I get to do it without the mud and with a hot cup of tea ,
but minus the atmosphere :-(
We just saw them too (from Leeds!) with wine, soon to make tea. Not quite the same I'm sure. :) Lovely shot.
This photo is ace. I've just got home and am now watching them on the telly - like Essitam says, without the atmosphere.
helen and beth, richard reed parry, usually in suspenders, plays the bass and other things in the arcade, has the most wonderful RED hair. and of course, he's intelligent.
and they rocked. not really heard them before, but i was amazed.

Lovely pic - is that a mudslick gleaming away in the foreground? Cunningly capturing the joy and downright minginess of a rainy Glasto. Ahem.
'allo mol!
That is very much a mud slick. Even mud slicks can be beautiful.
The weirdest thing about Glastonbury (and maybe one of the coolest things about it) is that it seems to be a moaning-free zone. Elsewhere in the UK peope will moan about the weather, the state of the roads and other people but when it comes to rainy, muddy-grounded and weirdee-folkee Glastonbury it adds up to its charm. It's like a little pocket of enchantment.
You sort of forget about the rest of the world, don't you? WIthin 5 minutes, being encased in mud becomes so normal that by Monday, when you encounter clean people on the train, you can't imagine how they do it. Or why.
That said, I've been to rainy Glastonburys and sunny ones and the sunny ones are much easier!
Best sunset of the festival. I loved Arcade Fire, was totally converted to them.
