he's not quite sure where bed is at the moment, so the doorway will have to do. clipper for scale.

He's wee! Just remember - the instant he wakes up, get him outside - puppies do 3 things well:
Play hard
Sleep hard
Pee immediately following either of the above.

He seems to be reasonably au fait with the idea of relieving himself on newspaper, so far. I have detergent on hand. :)

silar31 says:

There is a product called Simple Solution, dunno if you have it there but it is the best stuff on the planet for getting odors out of carpet if he misses the papers.

Are you going to resist, I wonder? In your place, no way I could withstand any little lonely puppy noises from out of the darkness... wonder if you'll end up in a sleeping bag by the dog bed? ;)

FilbertFox says:

did he have a good night?

25th Jun 2007, 11:49

mat says:

apparently so. I didn't hear any noises of upset, during the night, and I'm told he was sitting in his crate politely in the morning, having left a big brown present on the supplied newspaper.

he seems very relaxed, to be honest. more so than I was expecting.

25th Jun 2007, 12:05

seaneeboy says:

Wow, great start - you can usually expect some whimpering, so with any luck this shows he's settling in really well... well done :)
