I'm here because it's a place where I want to be.

What do I do with my life - still pondering that, keep exploring the possibilities I suppose...

I do have another more personal moblog Vivupclose

We think caged birds sing, when indeed they cry. -John Webster, playwright (c. 1580-1634)

There are two kinds of light -- the glow that illuminates, and the glare that obscures. -James Thurber, writer and cartoonist (1894-1961)

Olympic champion Steve Williams, stroking a composite 'super-eight' that included the world champion four and pair, took nearly a length lead from a strong field over 1500 metres. Their power held off even the rival GB squad eight, who stayed within feet of the lead for several minutes.
For the other Olympic crews, it was silver Sunday as Britain finished second in four important events.
Gold for the adaptive four and men's lightweight pair boosted the medal total
