“There are no grades of vanity, there are only grades of ability in concealing it”

Mark Twain

Trying out this project thing. See if I can last beyond 24 hours. I sincerely doubt I'll make it through the year.

I'm not always overly fond of my face. So, sorry.

Distorted by knackeredness.

1st Jul 2007, 00:10

Steve says:

Rich says:

Yeah, sleep's for lamers. Push it through 'til dawn. That's only 4 o'clockish

1st Jul 2007, 00:17

Helen says:

I know. I watched it happen last night/this morning/yesterday morning. 4am, everything beautifully light.

1st Jul 2007, 00:21

Rich says:

I'd have to say that's pretty much my favourite time of the day. Listening to the birds going nuts is good, and then later on you get all the farmers programmes on Radio 4. Awesomeness.

1st Jul 2007, 00:23

Helen says:

Walking home on the empty dual carriageway was fun.

1st Jul 2007, 00:24

swamprose says:

1st Jul 2007, 03:40

Helen says:

I think that's my right eye...

1st Jul 2007, 03:45

swamprose says:

I think you are right.

it's been a wrong day for me today. wrong wrong wrong. but i refuse to go to bed.

1st Jul 2007, 03:47

Helen says:

Nearly made it to 4am.

1st Jul 2007, 04:10

swamprose says:

1st Jul 2007, 04:14

Helen says:

Fancy paint or plain paint?

1st Jul 2007, 04:16

paintist says:

dawn was streaky here......but the birds are still giving it large....

1st Jul 2007, 05:02

Viv says:

1st Jul 2007, 23:25

Helen says:

It's something of me.

1st Jul 2007, 23:38

mr.nige says:

cute as you are, this picture freaks me every time i hit the dailyme tag.

2nd Jul 2007, 17:32

Helen says:

Heh, think I'll set out to use dailyme that you can have bad photos of me. Bad, wicked, evil!

2nd Jul 2007, 17:34

mr.nige says:

don't do it!

2nd Jul 2007, 17:49

Helen says:

Why not?

2nd Jul 2007, 17:53

mr.nige says:

i have a sensitive disposition.

2nd Jul 2007, 18:18

Helen says:

I have an image to destroy.

2nd Jul 2007, 18:20

mr.nige says:

awww. well in that case... the results should be interesting....

2nd Jul 2007, 18:25

Helen says:

: )

I think I'm off my face for a bit.

I mean, focussing away from the face, not offmyface.

2nd Jul 2007, 18:26

mr.nige says:

i know just what you mean.
offyourface was weekend before last - glastonbury. this week it's time for something new.

2nd Jul 2007, 18:29

Helen says:

thinking of stuff is a bit bothersome. I'm hoping I'll become more inventive. It's not working so far.

2nd Jul 2007, 18:30

mr.nige says:

i said the exact same thing to OJ just yesterday. it is a bit taxing, isn't it? i'm already running out of ideas, and i don't see it getting any easier. ah, what joy.

2nd Jul 2007, 18:36

Helen says:

Maybe I'm constructing the whole thing, so that I can delete it in one dramatic gesture? Like people delete their livejournals?

2nd Jul 2007, 18:37

Rich says:

Ahhh, auto-destructive art, lovely.

2nd Jul 2007, 18:43

mr.nige says:

i sense you are bordering on other recent topics (hehe), but i think i see what you mean. i've taken great pleasure in deleting some of my other blogs, no matter how much time i've invested in them.

2nd Jul 2007, 18:45

Helen says:

Then you can al mourn the loss of the many faces of Helen.

It'll be glorious.

Some may cry.

Yeah. Whatever.

2nd Jul 2007, 18:45

Helen says:

Perhaps. I did want to pull myself away a bit. But then I am still very private. I don't blog too much personal stuff either on my word journal or here.

2nd Jul 2007, 18:47

nige says:

do what you must, private girl. just don't fall into the puddle.
