The Thames Beach

Its a lovely place about 40 minutes from Tower Bridge. Its always exciting to look for old stuff between the stones- china, glass, ship-stuff, anchors, animals... We sat down with a blanket, some music and a bottle of wine to watch the sun disappear. Before we left we took the bottle to put a message inside and let it swim down the river. Watch out for it- it should be in Tilbury soon!

Oh how romantic. And what beautiful colours.

I do love the Thames beaches.

this romantic set is great: the green wall, the crab, the message in a bottle and those sunset colors

i can't remember where exactly it was- we walked along the thames from the design museum near tower bridge towards the east. it takes about thirty minutes. there are quite a few stairs leading down to the thames beach. obviously you have to make sure that it is low tide.
