My new Pearl Jam live box set arrived this morning!!!

No thanks to the wanker of a postman who half crushed the outer sleeve getting it through the letterbox when he could quite clearly see me sitting in the living room, right by the front window :-(

But still - the packaging is ace, and with 3 whole gigs consisting of 76 different songs over 7 CDs, I've got a lot of Pearl Jam to listen to, so I'm happy!

*Imports into iTunes*

if the postman could see you, you could see him - if I'd been awaiting such an important delivery I'd have greeted him at the door! I would add "enjoy", but I'm sure you will! (wanders off muttering envious things)

James says:

Well I did attempt to do this, but he'd already stuck it half way through the letterbox by the time I'd reached the door (he was in a hurry) I opened the door as it was two thirds of the way through!

Plus, I had no idea when it would arrive and it got here very quickly from the US!

a postman in a hurry is a wily creature to be sure.

ooo lovely Pearl Jam goodies.
Don't even try buying vinyl off the internet, the last album I brough looked like the postman had tried to shove it though the letter box.

can't....wait.....til.....birthday.....arghhh so unfair :(

gofes - do you mean from their website? when i got the last album on vinyl they sent it with a great gouge out of the front cover, which was *inside* the polythene so nothing to do with the post. so i sent it back and they sent another one, but after numerous emails never got a reply about whether they'd reimburse the NINE quid it cost to send the damaged one back to them. pfff.
