So this was in Amsterdam? I must say, Dutch liquorice is one of the great delights of Holland. Stroopwafels are good too (you can get them in Waitrose and Sainsbury's nowadays).

Gill: No Am-stram-gram is the equivalent of your miny...mo...etc but i've never been able to say it properly :-)
