"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience
Skating away, skating away, skating away
On the thin ice of the new day"

Thanks, Facto! I was really pleased with it, and by actually seeing bees! I saw four of them out and about. That's heartening. :)
Thanks, Hari!
Thanks, Nige. :)
I love them all but that first one is so amazing.
The bees never say still long enough for me to get a good picture of them.
Thanks, Kostika. I was thrilled to get the first shot. A bumblebee kept flying into his flower, trying to dislodge him. He was determined to stay though. My good luck he had incentive to stay. :)
WOW !!:-D I thought your shots were awesome before. Glad to hear something good came out of a bad situation.
oh wow. These are absolutely stunning. You have outdone yourself. And got so close!
I am adding another Wow for the pics and another Yay for the new camera :)
I'm glad someone HLed this. I really wanted to earlier, but your images always amaze and delight me so thought I'd give someone else a chance to tell you that you're a wonderful photographer. :o)
Thank you so much, everyone!
Dhamaka, I amazed myself getting so close. Good thing Rick was with me - I kept getting dive buzzed by a bumblebee and was doing my fair share of screaming. ;)
Thank you, Kostika. :D
see? dropping your camera ain't such a bad thing after all, just don't do it again!
Hahahahaha! No, I won't do it again, that was a bit too traumatic. Rick's never been happy with his camera's macro, so he's inherited Lazarus the L1 as a dedicated macro camera. :)
