"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience

Skating away, skating away, skating away On the thin ice of the new day"

So scary. Just before going to bed...he looks like escaped from a war movie. Plated armor. Probably win all the fights. Superb close-up :-)

Caine says:

Thanks, Minkey. He is rather dinosaurish. :)

095, he was about 1.5 inches, maybe a bit more.

A., he does like he came straight out of a 50s B movie. :) I would like to know what kind of hopper he is though.

Caine says:

Good grief, I hope it's not a baby! It was big enough. :)

Caine says:

Wow, those are fantastic. Thanks!

Caine says:

They sound formidable. I'm not sure where this camo hoppersaurus comes from, but I don't think he's local.

Dhamaka says:

wow, you're out doing yourself :D

29th Jul 2007, 09:13

Caine says:

Hee, not really, D. Where this guy came from, I don't know. He's not camouflaged here, and it's obvious he's built for camo. A camera can only do so much - I had outrageously good subjects show up yesterday! :D

29th Jul 2007, 09:20

Dhamaka says:

don't do yourself down, Caine

29th Jul 2007, 09:21

Caine says:

Oh I'm not, D. Good subjects make all the difference though.

Caine says:

Thanks, SLG. I'm still astonished by him, and the fact he was in our yard. A most interesting fellow.

That is huge.... just reminds me of the bad guys in ANTZ.... hehehe

29th Jul 2007, 12:52

Caine says:

Thanks, SuziQ. I wonder if he'll bully all the smaller hoppers... ;D

That reminds me, I suppose I ought to see Starship Troopers some day....

Impressive, as always, C!
