This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

"Give, give, give -- what is the point of having experience, knowledge or talent if I don't give it away? Of having stories if I don't tell them to others? Of having wealth if I don't share it? I don't intend to be cremated with any of it! It is in giving that I connect with others, with the world and with the divine."

"The grand show is enternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapour is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls."

Been counting visitors since some time in August 2008
To some great time:-) great pics, some nice food, good weather, good company. Anything else can wish you. Yes no neck or back problem
Glad worries and causes are peeling away:-)
Glad things are picking up for you. Good luck with the ride, have a fantastic time! :)
Dhamaka - You were right with leaves. Artichokes are thistles and don't really have what I would call petals exactly. The flowers lookee like this when in bloom :

I hope that your summer improves and that Para mends well while I'm away
Hurray for holidays! (even if they are working ones) a change is as good as a rest. Enjoy and take lots of photies - i want to see!
i am jealous. I may cycle into Leeds next week, much more mundane
just one thing, why are you practising cycling one handed? Can you not afford a rucksack?
After the trapped nerve I had all kinds of complications and using my shoulder the wrong way still kinda hurts. When in my own private world of uphill pain it's nearly impossible to remember to use my arm and shoulder correctly. Rather than give up or get pain I'm working on a one-handed technique...... as you can imagine, changing gears is quite challenging
ah now i get it. Have someone run along side you and change gears. No?
