Homegrown eggs and homegrown raspberries too - just imported the sugar and the cream. Raspberries are greatly underrated, imo - too much fuss is made of strawberries, whereas I usually find raspberries to be much tastier (and more abundant, at least in our garden!)
Luckily, I made two meringue bases, so there will be another one this evening. I think peaches, this time.
If you do peaches, do butterscotch sauce... it's easy to make. (and even easier to buy) mmmm... butterscotch sauce... mmmm peaches.
Raspberries kill the pants of strawberries 100% of the time. They are 32x superior fruit, minimum.
you are not eating the right strawberries, this much is perfectly clear.
Raspberries are OK though.
I love raspberries but the hubby isn't terribly fond of fresh ones because of the little pips in them. So I rarely make raspberry desserts.
