Dhamaka says:

poor creature
(even though he doesn't look too upset)

Rich says:

He was a bit concerned at first, but now he *loves* it, honest.

Getting him in training for if it snows this winter.

Dhamaka says:

hmmm....

are those big eyes just for the camera then?

17th Sep 2007, 13:08

Rich says:

those are the only eyes he has - very soulful, is our Wes.

Artfully disguising what a massive spaz he is :D

Salome says:

I think he's winning the Thickthorn cuteness battle right now. Especially as there's been no pics of Lemmy for a while. Is he still whiny?

His human needs to check www.houndzinthehood.com/ - get him some proper sighthoundy threads for winter :)

looks like he's off to a wedding

Leave Wes alone for more than two minutes and he whines, howls and cries like the world is ending. He's such a pussy.

Salome says:

He's probably got abandonment issues. He'll settle down. Neela took months to figure out that we always come back. :)

Rich says:

Yeah, he's very attached to his mum, though seeing as I'm around most of the time he'll settle for me if she's not. He's OK.

That said, he has just let rip the most rancid fart I have ever, ever smelled. Certainly losing cute points there.

Thanks Silar31 - was thinking about getting Wes a fleece-lined waterproof coat for winter.

I did want one that doesn't look too girly, but it doesn't seem to bother him...

silar31 says:

seainasieve, google around a bit. There are some really nice looking duds out there for sighthound breeds - living in New England I've seen some really handsome coats and such on greyhounds in the area.

hildegard says:

Poor silly dog, what has he done to you? ;)
A dog crate is usually the best way of dealing with separation anxiety - he gets scared because his pack leader isn't with him & he doesn't stand a chance of defending a whole house without her.
