Geez Mat, I'm sorry you are having a bad time getting your glasses. I'd like to want to tear someone's head off by now :(.
Sheesh, and I thought I had had a tough time having to drag Steve back to 20/20 every weekend for about a month for them to continually readjust my glasses (the lenses have never sat in the frame properly -- just glad it wasn't me that paid for them [that was the firm who broke my other glasses {by putting a printer on top of them}]).
and a puppy. puppies make for happiness too.
sorry to see you are having so much trouble, its so f@@@ing irritating when things like this happen.
Hope that you get it sorted soon and that someone gets a rocket up their ass.
glad you've got nice tea and choclatey cake
nobody launches a customer-complaint ass-rocketing quite like Mat does SLG. They won't be sitting down for weeks.
stroll into the store, ask calmly to speak to the manager, smile with ease and take out a pen and stab him in the fooking eye!.. he'll sympathise then for the problems with eyesight!
custoemr service is just degrading, ive had majore issues lately with some companies!
i have learnt my lesson with the length of time it takes to get glasses made. I intend to order next summers sunglasses just after Christmas, to give them time to get it right
I go to a family run opticians - much better service than this national chain bollocks.
Vision Express are the only opticians in the whole of Norwich who stock the frames I like, so I'm kinda stuck with them.
Had another eye test on sunday, results came out different again. Am going back on thurs for objective test, where they'll drug my eyes so they can't focus and put me in a refraction machine. Apparently very accurate.
very accurate and migrain inducing. Be prepared with painkillers, sunglasses and a darkened room.
really? they didn't say anything about that.
Hmmm. Painkillers aren't usually a good thing for me to take, 'cos I tend to then injure myself while I can't feel it hurting.
Eep, that sounds very very Not Good, Mat.
I often think that customer service is an oxymoron these days....but I was proven wrong on the weekend. Small, local shop of course.
hopefully you wont react the same as i always do then
hey, have read your vision express posts with a smile. shows you - always try the small firms doesnt it!
